Two separate sources have told me that Chuck Shifflett has been banned from pastoring in Lititz, PA. I was one of several people who alerted local news media and local law enforcement about him. A professional association of ministers in Lititz also got involved. With all of the communication going back and forth, the state police in Virginia were notified (from what IÂ’ve been told), and Shifflett was caught violating his probation/parole, which stipulate that he cannot leave the state. (His home is in Virginia.)We could all breathe a sigh of relief if that means that Shifflett will go to jail for the violation, but I think a return to prison is unlikely. However, for the moment, heÂ’s out of the pulpit again. No doubt heÂ’ll try to get back into it. This case showed us that it takes a lot of people and a lot of writing and calling to get a child molester ousted. But for the moment, he doesnÂ’t have access to children nor to the money of gullible and morally indifferent IFBÂ’er
